Our Director

My name is Dr. Annie Thomas Thompson and married to Roy Lee Thompson for 29 years. I personally remember growing up in a spiritual home. My parents had ten(10) children that all attended church in my parent’s household. My mom got us ready for church even though we did not know what salvation was at that time! We all served in a church setting in some capacity to serve the Lord. My family consist(ed) of Deacons, ministers, teachers, bankers, carpenters, social workers and a few in salesmanship capacities. 
While serving in church at ages ten through twelve and older as an usher, helping people felt good!
At the age of twelve, I would lead songs in the church choir. Our family developed life styles on the old spiritual hymns. Later on in life my leadership with Christ developed more through singing in my school’s choir at age 16-17. My passion was to join and organize spiritual quartet groups. My thought even at that time was songs, hymns and praises Exodus 15:1-2; and my father added; “but make sure you learn the scriptures more”! My personal motto also is “bring a child up in church and if they depart their ways, they will and can find their way back”, Proverbs 22:6. Teaching all children to choose the right path through discipline and accountability, they will remain on that path.  My ordination was some 15 years ago under the leadership of local ministers.

We offer Praise and Worship Services, Christian Educational Tutoring (Pre-K-Adult), Accredited Seminary Degrees, Clothing and Food Pantry/Nutritional Training.
